Mark Gray – drums, percussion, vocals
The founding member of Curbstone, Mark teaches music in the Carlisle Area School District. He’s a percussion instructor for both the Carlisle and Camp Hill high school marching bands, and he has marched with and served as an instructor for several drum & bugle corps. Mark played in a number of local bands, including two Chambersburg area outfits -- the Angeline Crawford Band (pop, rock) and Soul Punks (R&B). He has played percussion for the Harrisburg Civic Opera.

Ken Robinson – guitars, lead vocals
Ken has been playing solo acoustic guitar/vocal gigs in the region since the early ‘80s. His band resume includes blues guitar with singer/blues harp/guitarist Octavia; popular music parodies with UKPRB; rock music in a Scranton-based rock band, Total Chaos; Christian rock with the New Life Band; and acoustic duets and trios in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Harrisburg. He also has performed in regional musical theatre, including Theatre Harrisburg, and for three seasons with the Harrisburg Chamber Singers. |

Vinny Hunter – bass guitar
A professional, free-lance bassist, Vinny can be seen throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland gigging with bands playing everything from blues, funk and classic rock to country and bluegrass. He once played onstage with Bo Diddley. Locally, you can see him with bands including Trick Bag, Grumpy Old Men, and Texas Son. He also has played with blues singer Octavia and for two years was house bass player in the regular “Sunday Jam” at the Full Moon Saloon in Baltimore. |

Merri McKee– lead vocals, keyboards, guitar
Merri comes from the West Coast where she opened for a variety of well-known acts, including Leon Russell and jazz greats The Nylons. She’s traveled "the road" with a country-rock band across the States and into Canada, recorded with bands in the studio run by Creedence Clearwater and recorded ads for national TV. She performed for years in the Lake Tahoe/Reno, NV, area. Through her many trips to Ireland, Merri has gathered hundreds of Celtic tunes that she plays and sings as a solo performer.

Chuck Ronemus – organ, keyboards, vocals
Usually seen onstage with Class Act (featuring Rita), Chuck adds the unmistakable sound of a Hammond organ screaming through a Leslie system – played with a dangerous sense of humor. He’s been in local bands (Gyrus, Afterglow, Maxwell and Innocent Bystander); backed up national recording acts (James and Bobby Purify, Eddie Holman, The Soul Survivors, and The O'Jays); and done shows with The Intruders, The Four Tops, The Impressions, and Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.

Dan Newhouser – trumpet, flugelhorn, vocals
Besides Curbstone, Dan plays in three other groups: He is principal trumpet for the West Shore Symphony Orchestra, he plays first trumpet with the New Cumberland Town Band and plays regularly with his church orchestra. Dan has played with local big bands, including the York-based Encores, and he subs with local brass ensembles and musical pit bands. Dan has been playing dance gigs since his college days. When the sun is up, he’s a 6th grade science teacher in the Carlisle Area School District. |

Vic Wertz – saxophone
Vic has played R&B with the likes of Aretha Franklin and The Temptations, jazz with Dave Brubeck, and classical music with film score composer John Williams, to name a few. A teacher in the Carlisle Area School District, his resume includes teaching gigs at Gettysburg College and universities at Millersville, Indiana and Purdue. He has played in the Indianapolis and Harrisburg Symphonies, for Theatre Harrisburg and various touring theatre companies, and is a staple in several local big bands, including ones led by Dave Stahl, Bill Hicks, Buzz Jones and Charlie Van Horn. |

Tim Wolf – trombone
The bottom end of the Curbstone brass section, Tim’s slide trombone, also has been heard in numerous college jazz bands, area big bands, concert bands and symphonic bands. He has played in pit orchestras for local productions of musicals including Anything Goes, The Music Man, Pajama Game, The 1940's Radio Show, and several other shows. Tim is an elementary band teacher in the Carlisle Area School District. |

Dave Godshall – saxophone
When we need him, he’s there, standing in for the missing Vic. Otherwise, Dave’s woodwind talents keep him busy: He is principal clarinetist in the Greater Harrisburg Concert Band, plays second tenor sax for the Buzz Jones Big Band, and is Reed I for both the Hershey Theatre and Theatre Harrisburg. And if that’s not enough, he is helping to create an armada of little woodwinders through the private lessons he offers. Speaking of creating armadas, Dave’s also a Navy ROTC scholarships recruiter… |
